Capacity Building Workshop Series for National Cadet Corps(NCC) Cadets

Venue & Date : 10th July 2015, CRPF Camp,Pallipuram

The Centre for Development Initiatives had conducted various sessions and training programs, including civic capacity building, entrepreneurship, 21st century skills & leadership, for National Cadet Corps (NCC) student cadets, numbering over 600, at the combined annual training camp (CATC)-2015 held at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp on the dates 10th & 11th of July. There was also an environment & wildlife workshop organized by CDI, in association

with the camp. Faculty & experts from respective fields conducted the sessions. They were highly informative and were well received by the student cadets. Some of the faculty, sessions& workshops were :

• Workshop on Leadership through Discipline: By Mr.Prejish S, Academic Coordinator, Evan Business School

• Workshop on Nature &We: Connecting with Wildlife – By Noted wildlife activist & Snake enthusiast - Mr.Vava Suresh

• Workshop on Debating Skills & Team Building – By Mr.Balamurali Krishna, Administrative Officer, National Insurance Company Ltd.(NICL)

• Session on Entrepreneurship & Sustainable innovation: By Ganesh Gopal, Fellow, Kerala Startup Mission, Government of Kerala

• Talk on Critical Learning & Cracking competitive exams – By Mr.Reghu Muralidhara Pai IRS, Assistant Commissioner, Income Tax,(P)
